Golden Nugget Las Vegas New 1 Dollar Chip

The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas has released a new $1 house chip.  This is very similar looking to the last issue.  Except this chip, the Hat and Cane image is visible on the inlay.  The Golden Nugget is probably the nicest casino in Downtown Las Vegas.

Caesars Palace New 1 Dollar Chip 2013

Caesars Palace in Las Vegas released a new $1 house chip.  I really is not much different from the previous release.  But it does have the Hat & Cane emblem on the inlay.  Usually that is hidden with a UV printed Hat & Cane that can only be seen if the chip is held under a black light.

Jerrys Nugget Casino Las Vegas 1 Dollar Chip

Jerrys Nugget in North Las Vegas has released a new $1 chip.  It is not a new design but a re-issue of their normal house chip.  I have heard there was only a small reorder, probably only a 1000.  Jerrys Nugget is not a bad place, but in kind of a shady part of town.  Best to go during the day if you want to go get chips. 

Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort 1 Dollar Chip

Here is the newest $1 chip from the Jackson Rancheria casino near Sacramento, California.  I have never been to this casino, but I have heard that its pretty nice.  They have table games and a poker room.

Wynn Casino Las Vegas Year of the Snake 8 Dollar Chip

The Wynn Casino Las Vegas always has a oversized chips for the Chinese new year celebration.  The chips always say baccarat on the and I guess is really the only game that uses them.

Jena Chocta Pines Casino New Chips

Jena Choctaw Pines casino is located in Dry Pines, Louisiana.  This is a new casino, but they do not have table games.  They seem to only have a poker room.  If there was only a poker room, I would think there would be a $2 $3 and $4 maybe.  Anyways, pretty cool looking design.

Bellagio Casino Las Vegas Chinese New Year 2013

The Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas, the one with the big water fountains has a $8 Chinese New Year chip for 2013.  This year they had a kind of mediocre Year of the Snake display, it was nice, but not the best

MGM Grand Casino Las Vegas Year of the Snake Chip

This is a $8 Baccarat chip from the MGM Casino Las Vegas.  I believe this is a oversized chip, but not sure.  Decent looking chip from the MGM.

Venetian Palazzo Las Vegas Chinese New Year Chips

The Venetian and Palazzo always have their Chinese New Year oversized chips.  This year it is the Year of the Snake.  These chips can be hard to get, depending on who is the cashier I guess.

Motor City Casino Detriot Presidents Day 5 Dollar Chip

The Motor City Casino has released a 2013 Presidents day $5 Chip.  I have never been to this casino but I have been told it is pretty nice.  Pretty cool picture of Mount Rushmore on this chip.

Palace Station Casino Las Vegas Year of the Snake 8 Dollar Chip

This is the first Chinese New Year chip that Palace Station has done in a while, maybe ever....I will have to check my sources.  As I am sure everyone remembers that the Palace Station is where OJ Simpson was arrested for armed robbery.  I believe before it was the Palace Station it was called the Bingo Palace.

Daytona Beach Kennel Club Poker Room 1 Dollar Chip

A new chip from Florida!  This one is from the Daytona Beach Kennel Club & Poker Room in Daytona Beach, Florida.  Pretty nice looking chip from the front side, the back side is kind of lame. 

Motor City Casino Detriot 2013 New Years Chip

This chip is one that slipped past us a few weeks ago but here it is.  Motor City Casino in Detroit, Michigan released this chip around the New Years date.  Pretty generic chip, but its still a new chip!

Hollywood Park Casino Year of the Snake Chips

Hollywood Park Casino always release a Chinese new year set, here is the 2013 year of the snake version.  At this time I do not have a image of the $2.50 chip but hope to soon.

Hard Rock Casino Las Vegas 8 Dollar Chinese New Year Chip

Here is the Chinese new year chip from the Hard Rock casino in Las Vegas.  I believe this is the first $8 chip from the Hard Rock, maybe the first Chinese new year chip also.  Nice looking chip from the Hard Rock, they always seem to come through a great limited edition casino chip.

Aria Casino Las Vegas 8 Dollar Year of the Snake Chip

Here is the first of the many Chinese new year chips for 2013.  But with gaming regulations getting strict sales of chips from the cage, how many casinos will actually have chips.  Rumor has it that some chips were denied by gaming control this year.  Very cool chip from the Aria casino in Las Vegas.  I think this chip is oversized

Jackpot Crossing Casino Carson City Nevada New Chips

Some new chips for the new year from Carson City, Nevada.  I can't seem to find a website for the property or I would ad a link.  The casino used to be called the Silver Dollar Club.  Decent looking chips, and good for people that collect chips with trains on them.

Cliff Castle Hotel Casino New 50 Cent Chip

 

Here is a new 50 cent chip from the Cliff Castle Casino in Camp Verde, Arizona. I have never personally been to this casino, but from the website it looks nice.  Fractional chips are not used much anymore due to higher betting limits.

Par-A-Dice Casino New House Chips

The Par-A-Dice Casino in East Peoria, Illinois has released a new set of house chips for 2013.  A lot of the Boyd Gaming properties have been releasing new chips with their own B house mold.
Not sure on the exact date on these being released but it was within the last week.

Glitz Casino Aruba Grand Opening

So the first new release chips for 2013 happens to be from the Glitz Casino in Aruba.  Here is the inside information we have received. 

"The Glitz Casino opened on December 5, 2012 on Eagle Beach in Aruba at the La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club.   It may have been a soft opening, There is a rumor of an official opening the week of January 13th."

Sure would be nice to be at the Glitz Casino in Aruba for that grand opening!
